Thank you for your interest in my commissioned artwork! Below are the guidelines to ensure a smooth process and to prevent any misunderstandings.

• Clear Reference Photos Are Required – For portrait commissions, I must have a high-quality reference image. I will no longer accept blurry, low-resolution, or photos of printed photos. If possible, please provide a scanned image or a clear digital reference.
• Pricing May Vary Based on Complexity – The base price includes materials but may increase depending on the level of detail, use of color, and overall difficulty of the reference. More complex pieces will also require additional time to complete.
• Rush Orders & Tight Deadlines – I may accept commissions with short deadlines depending on the size and circumstances. However, rush orders must be paid in full upfront. For example, if you need a piece completed within two days, full payment is required before work begins.
• Additional Subjects Cost Extra – If you want more than one person (or subject) included in a commission, a 20% fee per additional subject will be added to the base price.
• 50% Deposit Required – A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before I begin any work, including preliminary sketches and planning. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion before delivery or shipping.
• Reproductions Available – If you see a piece in my portfolio that you love (and it is not a personal commission for an individual or organization), I am happy to recreate it as a custom order.

General Pricing

The way I determine my prices is based on the size of the artwork, which is a standard pricing method among artists. My updated rate for 2025 accounts for the use of high-quality, top-tier acrylics, ensuring vibrant colors and lasting quality.

Included in the price of your commissioned artwork are all materials, my time, and over 15 years of experience as an artist. This also covers image research, concept development, varnishing (finishing) the canvas, and installing hanging hardware so that your piece arrives ready to display.

I require a 50% deposit before I begin your project, with the remaining balance due upon completion. For larger projects, installment payment plans are available. If a custom-sized canvas is required, a supplies fee may be added. Framing services are also available for an additional fee.

Shipping costs are not included in the base price but local delivery is available.
